Make Goals!

Hello Folks,

One month has already past away. Only 9 more to go to enjoy this remarkable journey. This is the correct time, as you must have been settled in your host communities, to understand and start to implement the goals you want to achieve this year.

Value Time!

Make Goals before it’s too late.

How to Make Goals that are effective and are long lasting?

There are two types of goals. 1) Long Term Goals and 2) Short term Goals. Even in one exchange year these making these two types of goals are always effective.  If you look in the history, all the Alumni who obeyed these few sets of instructions were indeed successful.

Long Term Goals: In an exchange year, long terms goals are the ones which you want to achieve by the end of the year. For this you need to write it down and put it somewhere you can see every now and then. This may include:

>Clearing the perception of the people about your country.

> Receiving Presidential Certificate for  Community Services.

>Becoming Student of the Month.

>Getting A-Honor Role.

>Being able to play trumpet by the end of the year.

Short Term Goals: In an exchange year, short terms goals are the ones which you want to achieve on daily basis. For this you need to plan stuff and write it down to see it everyday in order to accomplish them. This may include:

>Getting Homework done.

>Emailing the monthly survey this weekend.

>Getting a present for Host dad for his Birthday.

>Recommending host family as host family of the month by emailing your Local coordinator.
